Introduce

The CM is a compact, powerful, integrated infrared sensor designed for continuous temperature monitoring that can easily replace traditional contact probes with a J-type or K-type thermocouple output or with a user-scalable 0-5V output, if your application is noise sensitive.

The CM sensor is designed to measure target temperatures from -20 to 500°C (-4 to 932°F).

The CM's onboard electronics are protected by a rugged IP 65 (NEMA-4) stainless steel housing, allowing the sensor to operate in ambient temperatures up to 70°C (160°F). without cooling.

Despite its small size, CM has many advanced features.

A two-way RS232 digital interface allows users to configure all programmable sensor sensors using the DataTemp Multidrop software included with each sensor.

These include 24VDC alarm output triggered by target temperature or tip ambient temperature, peak hold, valley hold or variable average signal processing, possible target emissivity setting adjust and set the transmittance through the adjustable window.

The built-in sensor status LED provides convenient online indication of sensor operating status and aids in troubleshooting during initial sensor setup.
